Blakeney Sunset

G, H and I went out for a combined birthday lunch at the Blakeney hotel as our birthdays are all within 8 days. It was a very overcast and drab day weather wise, but we still had a lovely view out over the marshes from our restaurant window seat Then we moved to The Lookout upstairs for teas and coffees and stayed a couple of hours more just chatting. You can see the sunset reflected in the large Lookout windows. Very tasty food, delightful company and a beautiful view - what more could be asked for? Then just as we were about to leave I noticed the start of a sunset and suggested we went out to photograph it. The colour got a lot deeper and it was so unexpected given how dreich it had been all day. 

Perhaps I should re-write this as Blakeney Sunset
