An early start at work for me (and them)

And then a very delayed hospital appointment with my super gastroenterologist.

I have been attending the botrot clinic since 1982. I've only ever had two consultants. Both have been amazing.
In 1982 I would go every 3 weeks, was seen almost immediately, greeted all of the other patients, read a magazine and had a sigmoidoscopy. (not at the same time)
In 2019 I wait for over an hour past my allotted time for my annual appointment in a clinic where there are no spare seats and no magazines. (and thankfully no sigmoidoscopes)

I am still grateful for the wonderful care.
