"Swan Lake"

This morning I was able to watch the two eldest grandsons running around at their football practice and then after lunch 4yr old B and I spent a special fun hour bowling together - and he won! As the two eldest boys had been at school and therefore missed out on the recent holiday I wanted to spend some special time with each of them individually to do something of their choice. It is the choice of 6yr old J tomorrow.

Later in the afternoon I went into Caversham to meet up at last with RedFlash, her hubby and blip star Milo. We had a wonderful walk along the Thames and chatted non-stop about all sorts of things, including blipping of course. The river bank was looking splendid in the late afternoon light and there was plenty to see and photograph - boats boasting solar panels, golden reflections in the water, agile gulls swooping down for bits of bread scattered by young and old, geese taking flight in small skeins honking proudly and then there were the swans. Beautiful, graceful and serene. This scene reminds me of the ballet as the little swans prepare to dance.. It had been a blipmeet special and we will definitely meet up again.
