Gnarled

Overnight we had a modicum of snow. My trip down the canal with the hounds was interesting on the roads and paths with them on leads but quite comfortable once on the fresh snow of the towpath. This tree trunk with its bark moss lichen and snow capping caught my eye.
More sorting and bagging (lookout charity shops ) before heading out to camera club!
