Looking down on Broadmead Bristol

We left home about 10.30 to catch the bus into Bristol.  KG had his appointment at the BRI.  We were there in plenty of time and after going up to his old ward to give chocolates to the nurses etc who looked after him - we went up to the 9th floor to the restaurant and had lunch.  Even though it was murky it was a super view (and this is taken through the window with my phone).  It was good to pick out landmarks.  We got down for our appointment just before one - our actual appointment was . 1.30 but we were asked to get their 1/2 hour earlier for test to be done. -  it turned out that they only wanted an ECG so back to the waiting room and they clinic was running an hour late.  When we did get in we were only about 10 minutes but she wanted KG to have a chest xray because of the cough he had had.  Another 40 mins and back up to the clinic - we sat for 10 minutes and then she told him all was fine and we could go home.  Everything has healed well and he has been given the go ahead to play table tennis.   Walked to the bus station and eventually got home just before 6.  Soup and Bacon sarnies for tea 
A long tiring day but milder than  of late.
