I didn't get to the Heritage Park till lunch time ..... by then the temperature had risen by a couple of degrees and I could even feel a little warmth in the sun.
The loch was almost completely frozen and the small area of open water was rather crowded with gulls, coots, mallards and the two swans.
I walked round the loch hoping to see the Lapwings but they were standing on the ice right in the middle of the loch. The extra photo of the birds is really beyond my camera zoom so the focussing is not very sharp.
