Garage Art

At the beginning of the 20th century, the ambition of the great painters was to make paintings that were like music, considered the noblest art. I agree with that.  I have Van Gogh's ear for music.  Ever since my musical career ended in second grade when they sent me home with an accordion, I have turned to oil painting, photograph and writing to express my creativity.

I just finished a small self-portrait (EXTRA).  My wife, who is my biggest fan and critic, said,  "It's creepy. You can hang it in the garage."
