Haggis Hunting

This week is the top period in Scotland (and elsewhere to a lesser extent) for Haggis hunting. The season is very short, stretching from mid January until roughly the end of the month, so a period of only two to three weeks. Outside this period it can be very hard to find this elusive prey. It can almost seem like the haggis itself is no more than an illusion.

These colourful haggis are certainly an illusion!
