Late sun at Wentworth Woodhouse

Lots happening for us today beginning with a family visit to Brodsworth to scatter Dad's ashes in his favourite part of the garden (it's taken a while to get all our family together for this event). Lunch - followed by a visit to Wentworth Woodhouse to support Jan of JWJprintmakers, who had a card/print stall at the Christmas Fair in the stable block. It was a good opportunity to get up close to this amazing house, though at the time we were there the light wasn't good. Finally as we left the sun lit up the hillside and the deer grazing in the park. As they saw us coming they disappeared over the hill leaving these few stragglers as I took photos. So many of these late afternoon photos worked and I found it hard to choose. In the end I settled for this one that shows the whole stand of trees.
