Self-conscious Presenter

We went into Asha's class today as they were giving a presentation on leopards... they'd all memorised facts and figures. They did so well...all a bit nervous but absolutely brilliant...I loved Asha whispering a prompt to Jose who forgot what he had to say.
Then this afternoon we went to a party at the bowling alley...one of the boys from school was celebrating his 8th birthday. It was only a small amount of people, so time to chat more with people, and go further in conversation...a really lovely time! Nate enjoyed playing his ukulele to the music that was being played, ha! 3 hours later and we finally managed to tear Asha away!
And then after the kids bedtime, a 3 hour Skype with Abby - what a woman she is!!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Asha doing SO well in her presentation.
2) The school families...such a lovely bunch of people.
3) Having a roof over my head tonight...the weather has been wild!!! It's knocking out electricity out!
