The Old Porvoo

Today me and my sister and mum went to our annual "Christmas shopping day" to Porvoo. We had nice time wondering around Old Porvoo's narrow streets popping in and out to these lovely little shops... came home with many little presents for Christmas :D

The Old Town of Porvoo is unique. The mosaic-like town plan with its maze of streets and irregularly shaped plots dates back to the Middle Ages. Since then the town suffered many fires, but always the stubborn citizens rebuilt their houses on the same foundations.

Rest of my evening I will be writing my essey about research methodology. Yippii!
