A day of two halves ...
This photo is the view out of my bedroom window this morning - a view I never tire of, the one that had me gasping the first time I saw it when we viewed this house almost 45 years ago. I can actually see most of it without even getting out of bed, which is rather marvellous, though I promise I was up by the time the sun appeared today.
My extra photo was taken at about 5pm seven miles to the south of here, looking out over the sea to the island of Bute, and beyond to the white-covered mountains of Arran with their own special layer of cloud draped over them. The cloud moved in around midday, and there was some wet snow along with the gloom. We have such changeable weather - I suppose I could say it keeps boredom at bay, but really I'd be content with a bit more of the flawless sunrises ...
