Fog

You can barely see it but through the arch on the right there was a heron sitting patiently looking for a catch of fish.  It always surprises me to see a bird like that literally in the centre of Dumfries, with traffic roaring round about it.  The fog was surprisingly thick at this point and we had some snow later on.
