Historic, Pink and Smelling Slightly of Oranges

Carpet cleaner here for most of the day, processing the 2 acres of pink fluff that adorns too many floors in this place.  Using a dry, eco-ish system that does seem to have been pretty effective.

Sadly, it's still pink.

Went to see the Ian Hislop / Nick Newman play Trial by Laughter this evening. Based on true events, the play's subject was the repeated trials of William Hone, a somewhat forgotten hero of free speech.

An unexpected bonus was that after the play there was an unscheduled Q&A with Ian Hislop and Nick Newman.
