Lifting

I had to go into town for a meeting first thing.  There was a little ice on the windscreen which was easily removed.  However the temperature was dropping with mist coming in and a chilling dampness in the air.  The mist had fully descended by the time I came home and the temperature had dropped to well under zero.  It was a time for putting a log on the fire and hunkering down.  But the warmth of the sun gradually lifted the mist and the sky turned blue.  It made for some beautiful scenes which called for a blip and I turned to mono to enhance the drama.
January has beauty too.
