The Snowplows....

..are finally out.  It snowed all night long and stopped just past noon, with about 8 inches of accumulated snow, although some news stations were saying 10.  I called this morning and cancelled Tom's MD appointment because when we turned on the news, it showed traffic backed up for miles on all the expressways;  there'd been multiple major accidents already.   Even the main streets hadn't been plowed early as they too had accidents on them--cars sliding out of their lanes or sliding right through the intersections, etc.  I read last night that we've had 57% less snow so far this winter than our normal levels, so I guess Mother Nature's trying to make some of that up......all in one day!  :)))      (I never left the house today, so just snapped this through the front window. )
