White Hats on Aigle Castle.

We don't often get this much snow down the valley so Aigle Castle, just 10 minutes from home, seemed a good subject to blip this morning. The mountains will stay white for months now.

Scale the walls!

The castle is 12th century and is currently a wine museum and very posh restaurant for big fêtes, weddings, and such like, but it is not open at this time of year. The walls may be thick but that does not provide enough insulation in these modern times.

I subscribe to a wonderful journal called By the Bay click here, and have decided to ask you to have a look at this journal as it seems to get lots of people looking but very few comments and I do not know why!
