Better late than never

I take a picture of this clump of snowdrops every year because they're at the entrance to the estate and I always notice them - although, oddly, this year I must have driven past them loads of times without noticing them! There's a cold wind out there today and the snowdrops just wouldn't keep still, so this was the best I could do with my phone.

Just had a very chilly walk with the dogs, but they didn't seem to mind.  My hands, meanwhile, still haven't quite warmed up, despite the thick gloves I was wearing. We seem to have got off lightly here, snow-wise, so far.

Another big chunk of work finished this morning (the bibliography, all 21 pages and 12,000 words' worth of it) so now it's on to the next one.
