bridal shower

i did the photos for my first ever bridal shower today, at ndola stadium.

it was interesting, as expected. plenty of crazy cultural stuff going on including some traditional dances. i took this guy outside with his friends to get some pictures. he couldn't speak any english and he stunk of beer. nice!

unfortunately the bride was covered in a chitenge for most of the proceedings, until the groom came and unwrapped her and presented her with some gifts including a bottle of handy andy. gosh, sometimes i feel so western!
