Cornet Street, St. Peter Port - Guernsey
In the 24 years I have lived in Guernsey, I have never visited the National Trust house in Cornet Street.
Mr. M. and I visited this today to get some small presents for Christmas - and I was so surprised what it looked like inside - even the old jars of sweets, which I could not resist.
Above the fireplace is a family picture - Mr. M. told me that this is his family, as many years ago his ancestors used to live here, and as a boy Mr. M. remembers going to see his family here - and not a lot has really changed. The nice lady in the shop kindly allowed me to photograph her in this shot.
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.
