Silence on the bus ...

I am always amazed by the reverential silence of commuters on the X buses into town. Meditating? Praying? Googling or pugged in to an audio or visual channel that completely zones them out of their bus ride?

Unlike the train there is always a seat and if one X bus is full there is another only minutes away. The trains are so short resulting in sardine syndrome , often late and sometimes cancelled and only run every 30 minutes and are very expensive!
