Balmy

You'll be delighted to hear it is now a balmy -9 here in Tampere. I walked a substantial part of the way home without my gloves on. I also swapped my shoes around and achieved a situation in which I didn't feel quite so much in fear of falling over. It helps that quite a bit more grit has been deposited on the pavements.

Nothing further to say. Met a colleague at lunchtime for an astonishingly acceptable lunch costing 6 euro in one of the university canteens. Carried on carrying on. An extra shows how it was when I walked in. I popped into Ratina shopping centre on the way back to find an Alko where I procured a remarkably decent bottle of Argentinian malbec for 10 euro. Life doesn't have to be expensive here.
