Eye Scan
I spent a few hours in the Moorfields Eye Clinic at Bedford Hospital today. I have a strange little shadow on one eye and I was diagnosed with Central Serous Retinopathy (CSR). It can be treated, if it doesn't go away by itself, but it's a little odd having any sort of handicap, however minor.
I was most impressed with the clinic: everyone was calm, cheerful, unhurried and most effective. It smacked of good leadership and teamwork.
The Extra is of the bistro in the hospital, a very pleasant place to hang out.
