Consolation Prize.
Off to Port Edgar Marina for a late lunch, we tried to get fed in Scotts but it is so good it is permanently full. You really need to book, but not to worry there is an excellent Canadian diner around the corner (dog friendly too). The fish taco is superb and so unctuous it is impossible to eat with any degree of dignity. Their popular steak mac and cheese had sadly sold out. They offer Canada's national dish, (in extra) Poutine (chips and gravy with lumps of cheese curd). It sounds awful but is very popular.
There are dozens of weird and wonderful land rovers too (also a bonus), a great furniture shop to browse and an outdoor/ nautical clothes shop with eye watering prices.
Very enjoyable and great views of the Forth bridges.
