Moss and lichens

Got out early under a wonderful blue sky and walked upriver to Martyr Worthy.  There are some very untouched parts of wood and scrub and the lichens, fungi and mosses were fantastic.  Here is a small sample.

By lunchtime it was mizzling and the sky has only now started to clear.  However, as I had lots of indoor jobs to do this afternoon I was just glad I got out when I did.

I'm really sorry, I know I've done this a bit lately, but I'm turning off my comments again for a few days.  This is turning into a stupidly busy week and I'm flagging already.  However, I will, of course, be looking at your journals.
