A glorious sunshiny day here, though I've felt chilly all day.


I'm trying to overcome my prejudice around Ted Hughes by reading Jonathan Bate's Biography. It's enabled me to read more of The Birthday Letters as I go along.

Does anyone else find it increasingly difficult to listen to the news ?. I switch it off.
