Engaging

As mementos go, they don't get much more special than this, the ring that I gave to my future wife nearly sixty five years ago.
It's also one of the oldest things we possess, it belonged to my grandmother, passed on to her sister, my great aunt,  to my mother when my gt. aunt died and then on to me to use as an engagement ring. I reckon that it's at least 130 years old, we'll never really know, the hallmark wore off many years ago
