Olympus

Still off work today, but feeling considerably better. A new addition to my film camera collection arrived today; an Olympus Pen FT. It amazes me to think how far technology has come when compared to (my favourite) digital camera, the Olympus EM-1 mark ii. Saying that, there is something very special about the simplicity of an old film camera: think about the composition, check the exposure and pray to the film developing gods. That's all you can do. I'm looking forward to using the Pen FT, it's unusual as it's a half frame camera, so that's 72 exposures from a single roll of film. It will have to wait  for a while, I need to finish the the rolls of film in three other cameras before I start.
