Merry Christmas from Rishton library.

We have had a busy morning but a very enjoyable one.
Arthur woke us up wanting his cat breakfast and I came downstairs to make coffee and had some fruit.. Arthur yearned for prawns and got some. Weather cold and damp but not too Wintry.
Then I did some local shopping at the Co-op for our Church Food Bank and took it up to the pastor's house. I also bought a beautiful piece of violet/purple tinsel to decorate our front room window beside the Nativity set.
Maria was going to decorate the Christmas tree but the branches were not linking in, and masking tape was initially suggested, so Paul said it was time to buy a new Christmas tree.
We visited many shops looking for the perfect tree, Matalan (we discovered they only do them online now) Homebase, Asda, Oswaldtwistle Mills.
We found the one best suited to our front room in B&Q.
It is 6foot 6, cost £45 and has hook -in branches which should last a long time and dew drop ends. A nice green.
We are just setting it up now.
