My Writing Corner

From my quiet writing corner in the sitting-room looking towards The Trossachs, I am currently working on my memoir “A Year in Chicago”.
 
 
Since my time as an exchange student to the Chicago School of the Art Institute, the world has changed.
But I got a foretaste of the future then with its emphasis on New Technology. The internet was still in its infancy and there were no mobile phones. Apple, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram, had still to be invented.
 
What hasn’t changed is the deep divide, in fact, worsened, between the rich and poor, the white and non-white population in America.
 
I hope I will find a publisher for it.
