Gruffalo Footprints

Today we started our new story at school 'The Gruffalo's Child' we made Gruffalo footprints in the classroom before the children arrived to see what they would say when they came in. The children were really excited when they came in trying to guess who had left the footprints. When then read the story and I took a group of children over onto the field to look for animal footprints or animal holes.
