Witch Hazel

Over a month after the first signs of blossom the witch hazel is at its best - unlike the weather, which remained resolutely grey.

We did not see the super blood wolf moon last night, despite the clear skies, judging by the excellent photographs from Blippers close to home. Miss Flum, who was stopping over, woke but was too comfortable to get out of bed to look, Mr Flum got up and looked for it but did not see anything, I was sound asleep throughout. What a failure!
