Blood Moon

I woke early and couldn’t get back to sleep so put the radio on. It said that the eclipse would be at it’s best shortly - I had forgotten all about it! I put my dressing gown on, went outside and got some shots. It’s a good job that it was dark as the sight of me would have given them a good laugh!

We’re having a short break at Llanberis (at the foot of Mount Snowdon) for 2 nights so set off in my car. It began jerking and the engine management light came on. Turned round, back to my house and transferred everything to F’s car. Set off again.

Miles of slow driving as we were in a queue behind 2 big lorries carrying turbines and a warning vehicle. It’s not often that we travel with 6 police motorbikes and a police car as escorts!

F’s daughter and son in law are staying here too so we’re meeting them for a meal later.

Snow is forecast so we shall see what tomorrow brings.
