COOL POOL

Below the Scarborough side of Filey Brigg is The Emporer’s Pool, situated only a few paces from the site of the Roman Signal Station. This large rock pool is surrounded by flat rocks and the sea washes in and out each day to keep it fresh.
Local legend states that the Emperor Constantine once bathed here while on a visit to this far flung part of his domain.  He was not at home today.
