The 1000th mile

Passed 1000 miles running for the year at this point today. And at the exact point who should be there to greet me, and pose politely, but my old nemesis. I passed the 1000 miles 3 days earlier than last year. I would've done it last week but had a head cold. The same could probably be said of last year though, which indicates this is about my level of mileage without making a big change. My wife is on about 1600, so 1000 seems a bit measly in comparison.
