Blood Wolf Moon Eclipse

I was so sure I was going to pass on trying to capture the eclipse, but my husband kept running outside telling me about it so I just couldn't resist.  My enthusiasm didn't last long because it was only 14 degrees (F), (-10 C) with a wind chill of 5 degrees (-15 C).  The cold was absolutely painful and It was quite difficult to capture because the moon was so dark.  My hands were so paralyzed by the cold that I didn't even realize I didn't have the telephoto lens fully extended. Not my best effort. What a knucklehead!

Anyway, I am glad to have my blip up extra early.  I see that some others have theirs up too and they clearly have done the moon more justice than I have.
