There is a raven, honest, out of shot. I kept trying to blip it.
Dorothy Wordsworth talks about conditions like this as ‘cauld clash’ which I reckon is such a perfect expression.

I was going to head into the central lakes but the sun came out as I drove by Blencathra so I thought I’d test my energy levels. I didn’t think I’d get much further than the top of Mousthwaite Comb but I managed to get as far as the top of Scale Fell here and was rewarded with some lovely views of the constantly changing light.
