Winter colours

A couple of beautiful flowers I spotted on my way to church this morning, a winter flowering cherry and a hebe. They're not the colours I really associate with this time of year but they are both lovely.
This afternoon we had the girls and Jon round for a while, Isobel had a nap and Eilidh and Jon went to Hillend for her skiing lesson. She's doing really well. They came back for tea so I made a cottage pie which went down well then they went straight home to bed!
15379 steps today, 4 days out of 4 so I've got time in hand for heading down to Cumbria on Tuesday after my pre-travel hairdo.
