Pukeko

Nelson again today - eye test and new glasses chosen.

Went to Alchemy (potters and cafe) on the way home. This pukeko (NZ native) was hanging around the pond just outside the cafe. I love their knees and feet. And those great vicious looking beaks. They always seem so clumsy but they can really turn on the speed when they want to.
