Trying to keep my blipping promise
Lovely afternoon for a walk, to see one one of our favourite couples at the end of one of our favourite local short walks. Such a calm and peaceful feeling in their house but always too a lot of laughs.
I wonder if Sue's wonderful blueberry cake, with cream and a mug of tea (tea made by Simon) had something to do with the 'feeling good' today.
Petronela acquired a hazel stick cut by Simon (none of this fibre glass poles nonsense!) - and enough puddles for her to jump in today, to the amusement of passing walkers.
Picture a bit blurry: 1/4sec hand held (couldn't be bothered to fiddle with camera).
The log fired stove got us talking about fire wood; would you believe someone has written a book on chopping, stacking and drying fire wood? I've borrowed it from Simon though I don't have a fireplace, but ... - 191 pages!
