I woke to a white frost this morning and it stayed where the sun didn't get to it all day, I think it's the sharpest frost so far this winter.   In beautiful sunshine this afternoon I walked the footpaths around the fields in the village and noticed the Hazel catkins looking rather lovely with the tiny red female flowers too.
