Salt, aluminium foil, ash and lemon juice

Today we cleaned the silver cutlery, which has probably not been used for 20 or more years. Thanks to the internet we found some tips and cleaned it in two steps. First with aluminium foil, salt and water. In the second step a mixture with an ingenious cleaning effect: a mixture of ash and lemon juice. The effect was brilliant.
