Loading the beet

There was no rest today for these farm workers who I met on my walk.  They had filled two enormous lorries full and there was enough left to fill two more.  At least they could work in the sunshine even if it was cold.  I have received an invitation play badminton which will help me work off the Christmas cake I am still eating every afternoon!
