Waes Hael

A merry time was had by all on a perfect day down at Skidbrooke. We toasted the goddess Pomona (goddess of fruitful abundance) and put bread soaked in cider on the apple trees for the robins who are the good spirits of the trees. And being in Lincolnshire a shotgun was fired to ward off evil spirits. Should be a great harvest next year if today's celebration was anything to go by!!
