small things

I have this reflection on a wall plaque.
"Lord the ocean is so big and my boat is so small"
It can demoralise or inspire, depending on the mood of the reader.. In reality, forensically it is a statement of truth, of observation. What it can't measure or quantify is the power of human endeavour, endurance and resilience. The biggest ocean can be crossed by the smallest boat.. it may take longer and the journey might be different or more rocky... but it can be done.
 So, happy sailing my blipping friends.
