Winter

The first snow of the winter sits on the tops of our hill framing the winter trees which prompted me to walk up the village street with my camera before setting out for York and the RPS Contemporary Group Meeting.  I always enjoy these meetings where lots of different ideas and photographic themes are shared.  I particularly enjoyed seeing Christine’s early collage explorations of the coast using faded Polaroid film and a copy of the very first (1989) newsletter of the group alongside a bit of internet research has got me thinking about my own photography and where I’d like to take it this year.
