Pelorous River

A great spot.

We had many a family picnic here when we were young.

I have memories of jumping off the bridge into the river - now there are signs all over the place warning against jumping and wire fences to keep anyone from going over the edge of the bridge.  

Probably a good thing, as in retrospect it was a very dangerous thing to be doing.  There have been a number of deaths in more recent times from people jumping.
