Another Admiral
It’s only five days since I blipped a similar butterfly, but today the light was different, the yellow admiral had a different forewing pattern (a gender difference?), and the blue circle was more obvious than on the other one.
In the extra shot is something I have never seen before. A harvestman is eating a fly! The harvestman is a young female and the prey is a hoverfly. It was a difficult shot because the harvestman was sitting on a carrot flower that is growing inside a fennel. I was able to pull away most of the fennel leaves, but the most annoying one seemed to be attached to the harvestman. When I pulled it the diner and her meal moved with it.
