Not Much Ice

I usually look forward to photographing this ice bound waterfall every winter but it has been disappointing this year.  There has been very little ice, even less than the last time I was there!  The ponds aren't even frozen.  I should be careful what a wish for but I would like to see some winter weather before spring gets here!  Piper is dying for a roll in the snow.  I may have to take her up to the mountains where they have had record snowfall....it just hasn't made its way to us.  Anyway, ice or not, I liked this shot from our walk this morning. :-)

I am grateful that I had time to walk, do some chores and keep up with Blip today!  I even got a long overdue letter written but there are still several I need to answer!
