Mall mirage
A day book-ended by a routine doctor's appointment and a very positive meeting to discuss the development of a new project to enhance the biodiversity of John Clare Country - the clay and limestone hills to the west of Peterborough, centred around the village of Helpston where he lived for forty years. The project will also seek to improve access, social integration and maybe even provide more employment opportunities. Exciting stuff!
I walked back through the almost deserted Queensgate centre. The lack of shoppers allowed a better appreciation of the spatial elements of the building. It had a rather strange feel, so a bit of experimental photography felt in order.
